Hi,

I just bought COD4 for the ps3. My roommate already had it, we're now trying to play it online but we both can't find any matches. Our internet was down a couple of days, but today we got a new modem and fixed it. My roommate didn't have any problems with it, until today. Can someone please help us?

My bro and me both live in the same city and we cant connect either. Both invites just time out and it says " unable to connect". We have to rely on sheer luck in regard to meeting each other in games online.

Maybe it's because I replaced your modem with a cat.

More than likely if the both of you are running off the same modem, you're getting what's called an IP conflict. Are you running a router out from the modem? or not?
