I didn't listen to it, because that means I would have to lean over to turn my PA on. But from what I can see, it looks cool and if it weren't overpriced I would consider buying it.

I would consider buying it if it's around £100 ($163), I think NVGs are the awesomest thing ever although they obviously aren't gonna be a high quality set.

When I saw them in the box I thought it was gonna be a gas mask.

And TOM, the main extra thing in the middle one is probably the copy of CoD, you'll need the code from the middle/prestige one for that.

ok, so according to twitter, the hardened edition will be $80. i am going to assume that it will be atleast $100 if not more

Yeah fourzerotwo released that price on his Twitter, since he didn't announce the Prestige Edition price with it, it's either undecided or so phenomenally expensive they want to keep it under wraps.

I don't need a shiny box. My disc is going to never leave the disc tray. So i will be buying the normal cheaper version and the normal case.

I don't plan on walking around my neighbourhood with some poor quality night vision goggles either... i will be to busy playing the damn game... ... and also i will probably get locked up if i walk around at night with them on...

I stumbled across another forum when trying to find a price and someone said that according to infinity wards website it would be $150 but I couldn't find it so who knows if there is any truth to it.

I garuntee those NV goggles will be bleep. They'll be the cheap IR emitting type with your 5 foot circular range.

And please. Just look at those youtube comments. it's the same game. it's the same thing. Now as well as golden guns idiots can now brag about cheap NV goggles, a metal box (zomfg metal...) and a book full of art & weapon info which is always next to useless.

Please excuse me if im not correct on this but i thought that they were dropping the "call of duty" and just putting Modern Warfare 2? .

But take a look at the plain ol edition , It has Call of duty Modern Warfare 2 on it. But everything else just has Modern warfare.

In an interview with Kotaku Robert Bowling (IW's Community manager) said "Call of Duty" would appear on the box of the standard edition but not on the 2 Special Editions do that consumers were aware it was a sequel to CoD4:MW. He also said the words "Call of Duty" did not yet appear in the game, whether this means it eventually will appear is anyone's guess.

Hmm...I guess that kinda sucks, but i'd decided against getting it anyway about 2 minutes before reading that article . I'll be getting the Hardened Edition instead.

In other news: The Prestige Edition will only be available from HMV in the UK.

HMV have secured exclusive rights to sell the Prestige Edition in the UK, which I think is very odd considering they're primarily a music store. When I asked the folks in GAME whether they'd have it to preorder before I found this out they said they might have it to order on the internet, seems this won't be the case.

150$ is a bit pricey..but i'm going to get it anyways i think [: i just want soaps head!! haha put it above my fireplace.
